Chandigarh, June 15: A meeting of former employees of The Punjab State Cooperative Bank Ltd. (PSCB) was held at the Chandigarh Press Club, Chandigarh, under the banner of the Veteran PSCB Employees Association (VPEA).
The participants S. Bhupinder Singh and Sh R C Gawri former additional MD deliberated on the vision and objectives of the proposed Association, which aims to provide a common platform for social interaction, fellowship, mutual support, and the overall welfare of retired PSCB employees. Members wholeheartedly welcomed the initiative and expressed their satisfaction at the establishment of a forum that would foster continued camaraderie, goodwill, and meaningful engagement among former colleagues.
During the meeting, members emphasized the importance of expanding the Association by reaching out to a larger number of retired employees and encouraging their active participation in future activities. The participants assured their full cooperation and support in strengthening the Association’s membership base and outreach efforts.
The members also expressed a keen interest in organizing family get-togethers, cultural programmes, and other social events in the future to further strengthen bonds among members and their families.
The Association placed on record its sincere appreciation and gratitude to Sh. Avtar Singh, Senior Journalist, for his valuable support and assistance in arranging the venue for the meeting.
The meeting concluded on a positive and optimistic note, with members reaffirming their commitment to the objectives of the Association and its sustained growth and development in the years ahead.
